Scripture tells parents our children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward (Psalms 127:3). Children are a precious and priceless gift from God. As believers on the Lord Jesus Christ, we should take comfort that the instruction in Proverbs 22:6 to raise up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent] comes with a special promise:
and when he is old he will not depart from it.
We believe every local church has a vital role to play in the Biblical instruction and spiritual development of every child entrusted to its care. That's why at Cornerstone Church, it's not just childcare, it's ministry.
Our Cornerstone Little Kids ministry cares for children from infancy through preschool age in secured spaces where your little one will feel loved, comfortable and safe while you attend church services, classes or special events. We've worked hard to create a fun, engaging and stimulating environment little kids will want to return to. Our trained staff and volunteers share the conviction that spiritual impartation and age-appropriate Biblical instruction should begin as soon as life begins.
Every service in Cornerstone Little Kids includes music, prayer, Bible lessons, crafts and play time. We consider ministering to your infant, toddler or preschooler a sacred privilege and responsibility we take very seriously.
We also realize it's an act of trust for parents to leave their most precious “possessions” in our care. Our primary objective is that your child will come to know and love Jesus. The sooner in his or her life this takes place, the greater advantage in life he or she will have.
Infants, toddlers and preschool aged kids have dedicated spaces, with trained leaders for each space so that we can get to know each child and minister to the unique needs of each family as they arise. Our Little Kids Family also enjoys quarterly training and fellowship times together.
