We want to thank everyone who has given of their time, talent and/or treasure. It is a huge encouragement to see people come together to serve victims of this catastrophic event in a myriad of ways. Communications and relief for our area has been difficult and we are often presented with opportunities with very little notice. Much of the response is "as the need arises." I keep being reminded that this is a marathon and not a sprint.
- Pastor Andrew
One of the best things that we can all do is pray. Regardless of where you are, you can pray! Psalm 147:3 says that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. The Holy Spirit is our comforter and we can believe that the Holy Spirit is ministering to those right now that are experiencing loss and turmoil.

What we have done:
- We have collected and are still collecting items to donate. They are being delivered on an ongoing basis. (Items listed below.)
- Because of monetary donations, we were able to prepare food and feed 40+ First Responders at Lamar Elementary.
- We have delivered hundreds of cases of water to the South Central Ruritan, which is ground zero for Washington County.
- We have delivered food items to Fender's Farm today and 500 to-go boxes to aid in their efforts of local meal delivery.
- We have many church members who have served at shelters and donation centers in Elizabethton, Gray, Jonesborough, and Unicoi.
- We partnered with an amazing organization, Convoy of Hope, and received 18 pallets of water bottles totaling about 40,000 lbs of water.
- As a Church, we met at Crossroads Christian Church in Gray to load/unload/sort donations for pickup and distribution throughout the area. CYS (Cornerstone Young Saints) also met there Friday to do the same.
- Tuesday (10/8) around 30 volunteers from Cornerstone cooked and delivered meals to the community near Fender's Farm. We blessed the food and prayed in advance for opportunities to share the love of Jesus with the people we met. As we drove down the road looking for utility workers, law enforcement or displaced families to feed, we saw the devastation to the area firsthand - it's staggering.
- CYS (Cornerstone Young Saints) sorted a 24-ft trailer full of donation items brought to us from Jones Trucking of Seymour, Indiana. Many of these items were delivered with a convoy of pickup trucks to Burnsville, NC.
Please understand that all of the information we receive and the areas to potentially serve are fluid and sometimes come and go quickly. At this point we are no longer accepting donations, We are full Praise the Lord! We are however looking at outreach opportunities this winter and Christmas. The best way you can help at this point is to donate towards these opportunities. Details will be made available asap. To donate navigate to our giving page and choose "Hurricane Relief."
