SPEAKER: SHANE MOODY
Shane Moody has been a member of Cornerstone Church for almost 37 years. He and his wife, Paula, reside in Johnson City and are parents to 3 grown children: John, Paul & Rebecca. Rebecca is special needs and still lives at home.
Shane is a Tennessee native, originally from Butler (home of beautiful Watauga Lake) and has lived in East or Middle Tennessee most of his life. In the early 80s, Shane moved to Ames, IA, where he did volunteer campus ministry at Iowa State University for five years. It was there he met and married Paula.
In January 1986, Shane & Paula moved back to Tennessee and almost immediately became members of Cornerstone. Over the years he’s served in many capacities (Nursery, Usher, Junior High, Senior High & College Ministry, Church Elder, Prison & Jail ministries).
In 2019, Shane retired from his career as a research chemist at Eastman. He currently ministers weekly at North East Correctional Complex as a volunteer with Men of Valor Prison Ministries.
