Wally and Jan Boyd have been members of Cornerstone Church for many years. After graduating from Wake Forest University and preparing to attend seminary, he was led instead to come back to work in his family grocery business. 

After selling the business in 1995, he has led a non profit organization, worked in radio, medical supplies and commercial real estate. 

He has held political office serving 10 years on the Kingsport City School Board and  6 years on the Sullivan County Election Commission. 

He currently serves on several community and ministerial boards. 

He enjoys studying, writing and playing golf. 

He and Jan have been married 49 years and have 5 grandchildren.
