Hear&Now (Cornerstone Church)

Jamie Burns’ life mission statement is “to inspire and teach others to bring glory to God through the arts.” Jamie is very passionate in her love for Jesus and encouraging others in their walks with Him! Jamie enjoys all the artsy things, painting, singing, guitar and violin.  She also loves hiking and traveling with her family.

Jamie is a graduate of Milligan College with a BFA Degree in Visual Art. She received her MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) degree from ETSU. She has been an art teacher for almost 10 years. She is currently the Elementary Art Teacher at Providence Academy, a classical Christian school here in Johnson City, where she has taught for the past 7 years.  

Jamie is originally from Lebanon, VA.  She moved to Johnson City to attend Milligan College and has been a member of Cornerstone Church for the past 22 years.  Jamie has been a member of the worship team for 20 years and has served previously as the Cornerstone Little Kids Director.  Jamie and her husband Andrew are currently the Youth Pastors at Cornerstone Church.  Jamie and Andrew have 3 children, Annalise, Ian and Carina. 

Jamie will be sharing “Wonderfully Made” encouraging women to be exactly who God designed them to be!
